Small updates on life I'm pretty sure I got contact frostbite multiple times a week ago cause the tips of my fingers don't feel normal and its been like this since my big field event. Sadly not a thing I can really do anything about or change at this point so I'm probably going to have to just live with it. Being back in normal civilization is nice after spending around 2 weeks in the woods where the closest town in multiple miles away. If I get anything out of the military I can say it has prepared me to be able to deal with unholy amounts of bullshit and strain. I think I almost went hypothermic out there due to running on 1 hour of sleep and not having eaten or drank anything in 24 hours. I'm ok now so nothing to worry about.

Music wise my favorite artists right now are bbno is probably the most popular out of those 3 but my favorite songs from the artists are, C'est La Vie from bbno$, Broken Man from Fox Stevenson, and Right Now from Confetti so if anyone wants to give a listen those are my favs.

For gaming I've sadly been going back into valorant, I need to find a shooter I can grind out on. I find shooters cathartic, I don't have to worry about anything other than the fight that's in front of me. While I love playing FF14 with my friends there is sometimes just so much going on I can feel my brain turn into mush as I try to remember mechanics and my damage rotations. I need to find a game where I can just turn my brain off and fight as much as I want.

Some events that are coming up in the future include jumping out of a helicopter, some gun range qualifications, my birthday, and a 1 week break. So the next month or 2 are gona be pretty exciting. This will be my first helicopter jump so I'm a little worried. I've jumped from planes 8 times so far and I've been fine.

Lastly some personal thoughts for this post. I'm a little worried for my future because I do want to eventually leave the military sooner than later preferably. But the problem is I have almost no useful skills for civilian life anymore. I've lost most of my programing and tech knowledge due to lack of use so I'd have to start from scratch. All my skills now a days are highly combat oriented. For example I'm trained on an assault rifle where I can confidently hit shots at 300m, a dmr where I can confidently hit shots out to 500m, 3 different types of machine guns, 3 different rocket launchers, stuff that will never be used once I'm out. The only thing I really get out of it is whenever I think to myself that I'm not doing anything in life I get to say "Well worst case at least I can be lethal". So I gotta work on skills that can transfer out of the military and be used in civilian life again.
